We want to thank you for taking time to check out what Lifepoint Church has to offer.  Below you’ll find simple directions to our Sunday morning gathering.  We encourage you to browse the remainder of the Lifepoint website so that you’ll have a good idea of who we are and what’s available before you arrive on Sunday morning. Again, thank you for checking us out…we’re saving a seat for you.

What should I expect when I visit for the first time?

We know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time.  You may be asking yourself questions such as: Am I really welcome?  Will I be singled out as a visitor?  How do I dress?  Will my kids like it?  Will they ask me for money?  What if I’m not sure I believe this whole God thing?  We want to make sure that your time with us is stress free and fun, so here is a quick overview of what to expect at Lifepoint Church.

Arriving

First of all, we want you to come just as you are, dress at Lifepoint is very casual.  Lifepoint Church meets at Savannah Elementary (see map & directions below).  Park anywhere you like on the east side of the building and look for our main entrance sign and greeters who will welcome you and answer any questions you have about where to go or what to do.

Kids

If you have kids (ages birth through 5th grade), you will be pointed to the approriate areas where you can register them for our children’s programs.  You are always welcome to take your kids into the main service with you, but we think your kids will love the programs we have for them.  We have a great security check in system so that you know your children will be safe and well cared for.  We ask that your older kids (middle & high school students) attend the main service.  Grades 6th-12th have their very own student ministry on Wednesday evenings (visit the ministries page for more info).

Food

We know that great food and coffee bring people together.  We invite you to help yourself at the refreshments table to fresh brewed coffee, juice and donuts once you enter the main service.  Once you have your coffee and donut - feel free to take them to your seat with you.

Worship Experience (10am)

When you enter the main service area, you will be given a worship guide by one of our greeters which has information about upcoming events and opportunities at Lifepoint Church.  Feel free, once you’ve grabbed some coffee or juice, to sit anywhere you’d like.  The service begins with some meaningful yet high-energy worship, followed by a welcome and prayer.  Our lead pastor, Rick Thompson, will give a message that is based on the Bible, easy to understand and relevant to daily life.  The teaching will last about 30-35 minutes and we generally end the service with a few announcements and prayer.  The entire service, beginning to end, is about an hour.

We celebrate communion on a monthly basis.  We invite you to join in communion if you have already made a decision to follow Christ.  If not, no big deal, you can sit back and reflect on your experience with us at Lifepoint Church.  The music at Lifepoint is very progressive and energetic.  The band does an amazing job leading the worship service and you will enjoy learning new songs and occasionally singing some old favorites.

As soon as we dismiss, right away you can pick up your kids from their age appropriate areas or feel free to hang out for a while and get to know others who call Lifepoint Church their church home.

Lifepoint Students is all about relationships.
Your relationship with other students and Christ.

We meet every Wednesday night @ 7pm.

Our weekly Wednesday night service provides an atmosphere for high school and middle school students to bring their friends and fellowship in a way that’s relevant to today’s progressive culture.

KIDMO is not about information, but transformation.  Not just biblical stories, but a biblical worldview.

We strive to teach God’s truth in ways that impact a child’s choices and actions. Creativity and imagination are precious resources for penetrating their language and culture. Kids must be needed, valued, and connected. Their church experience must be relevant to their daily lives.

Clear represents women who are transparent with others who are passionate about Christ and those who have yet to encounter him. Clear represents women who are free from a life of sin and who are pursuing a God-centered life.

Alpha Men

Alpha // Lifepoint Men’s Ministry

Alpha is the beginning. The beginning of a man discovering his true identity, the beginning of a life based on the solid foundation of Christ. This journey that begins with a personal relationship with Christ leads to many additional beginnings in life.

At Lifepoint Church, we want to unleash men of God by purposefully creating opportunities to encounter God and discover their true place as men, husbands, fathers, friends, and leaders. We accomplish this through Alpha meetings, men’s activities, conferences, and special events focused around man’s innate desire to lead and succeed in life. Make plans to join us at Alpha as we grow in Christ and discover our place as men.

The Need List

Using technology, the church body can now meet the physical, spiritual, and financial needs of it’s own congregation and local community.  We’ve created a site much like craigslist.org, but unique to the Christian community.  The site is very user friendly and provides a way for the church to become a community, helping one another along way, much like the early church.

Once on “the need list” you can, just like craigslist: buy and sell items, list your business or services, post needs you may have (anonymously if you desire), and help others in need. Our hope is that you’ll take time during the course of your busy week to visit the need list to see how you can help others in the local community and those who call Lifepoint Church their church home.
